The Beauty of Surigao

The City of Surigao nestles along the northernmost tip of the Province of Surigao del Norte where mountains and hills are prominent indentions throughout the coast. It is bounded on the north and east by the Hinatuan Passage, on the west by the Surigao Strait, and on the south by Tagana-an.
The city has a land area of 245.34 square kilometers and a population of 35,855 inhabitants in 1970. It has an ideal port which is shielded by the Nonoc Islands. It is also connected with good roads to Butuan City in Agusan del Norte, and Lianga in Surigao del Sur.
Legendarily, the town of Surigao was a thriving settlement ruled by Chief Solibao. When the Spaniards came, they called the place “Surigao”, but during the arrival of early Christian missionaries in the province, it was better known as “Caraga,” from the name of its inhabitants – the “Caragas” of the Visayan stock – warlike, brave and ferocious.

Surigao City is noted for its proximity to the almost fathomless underwater gorge, the “Philippine Deep”, which is one of the deepest portions in the Pacific Ocean, including all other oceans in the world. Surigao City is blessed with abundant natural scenic spots consisting of various arrays of beaches and island hopping destinations that can cater to different types of adventures, from swimming to snorkeling and scuba diving. Other natural attractions in the locality consist of mangrove forests, caves for spelunking, lagoons, waterfalls, rock and coral formations, and many more.

*Lost in the Middle of Nowhere

We started traveling at 5:00 o'clock in the morning and we arrived at 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon. Whoa! what a buzzy travel. In the road at Claveria somewhere at Cagayan de Oro mountain we took a shortcut there and it was risky! It felt like your'e in Heaven because we were in the tip of the mountain. Roads so high, roads so curved and air so fresh.

For hours of travel, we finally arrived at Caraga Region. We stopped by at Butuan City. It was my very first time and it was amazing also in Agusan del Norte and Sur.

*Lost in Surigao

Well, Hello Surigao! Finally we arrived at Mainit Surigao del Sur to the place where we imagined and we desired. At exactly 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon. We stopped and stayed at the hometown of our church member. In the morning , we traveled going to Surigao City where the pier to Siargao is. Around 10 a.m, we  bought tickets and after we waited for 1 hour before our depature because the fastcraft namely "Angel" will arrived at the pier at 11 a.m. So while waiting, we ate at the fastfood chain across the ticket booth. We ate very afordable food there and we also brought cooked rice so that we can save more. After we ate, we checked in before our departure and 5 minutes after we went to the fastcraft. If you'll ride fastcraft, it costs 250 per passenger and the time will spend is just only 2 hours but if you ride "roro", it just only costs 150 per passenger but it spend 4 hours of riding. At the moment of truth......

Hello Siargao!!!.. The island of adventures.. The people there are so friendly and hospitable. When we arrived , we rode a trycle going to a friend of my father and he is also a pastor. We waited there for 2 hours because we talked about where we should sleep, where we eat and what to do. So they instructed us everything. After, we rode a trycle again going to the boulevard and it costs 30 pesos per passenger. When we were at the boulevard, we were searching where we can place our tents because in the boulevard there's also cottages that are free and you can also place tents there and YES! It's safe.

This picture was taken in the boulevard around 5:30 A.M and it's sunrise time. After we took our tents, we went to the market to buy some foods that we can bring to the different islands. We bought fresh fish, junk foods ad soft drinks. Our plan for that day was to hop different kinds of islands in Sairgao and we rented a boat owned by a church member their in Siargao so we saved more again. Till' 9:00 A.M we started hoping islands. First we went to "Naked Island" Dako island and went back to the boulevard and went to the "Cloud 9" which is the Capital Surfing Place in Surigao.

*Let's Slay The Waves Down

The last island was the Cloud 9. It's really amazing and fantastic to watched the big waves rolling. Actually I want to ride and try surfing but it costs 500.00 pesos per hour even beginners tho. It's actually expensive but it worth spending for. You can rent a surfing board at 300.00 pesos only but without a trainer. When me and my friend Kezia  walked down at this bridge to watch people surfing, I stopped at the corner to take some blogger photos without the surfing board and unexpectedly, there was a man walking towards us ,he said "This oh, hold my surfing board and slay" and I was like "Thank you so much. I really want to take a picture with a surfing board" and so we took a picture and slayed.

This is the journey of my travel..........

Everything. Everything

Sometimes it's hard to love someone you haven't meet yet. Sometimes it's hard to achieve something you had planned and it may think that life is unfair, but sometimes you just see the beauty that holds upon it. The beautiful scenery, nature feels and you think how life works. Some deeps that are swimming in one pace until it will swallow you because people's inability to connect to each other. Hopes and dreams shattered, wounded hearts and broken toys were sinking inside and were blindfolded by the depths of fears, anxieties, sin, shame and for all negative thoughts; but it's only our hearts can see the trust it upholds, the friendship we shared, the positive smile we acquired and make them as an inspiration to live on.     Shadow danced along the hillside way while the sunlight stole around the green trees. Hopes shining, dreams shimmering. When I entered the rehab, I saw emotions flying, fears ditching, anxieties howling, hands shaking and hearts tremblin...

#The Killer Inside Me

A rainy day with a whirlwind hymn, a time when this killer inside me began. When I was 14 years old , I used to dress up so girly like wearing fancy dresses but still modest. The time I became a teen, my mom gave me girly clothes because when I was a kid I used to be boyish. Until the day when this killer came up. I was a juvenile that time, young and fresh. It was between September of 2014, when we built our house. That time, I was wearing my above the knee uniform (which is a Korean style skirt) and went to the school lavatory to wash the dishes. While washing, some guys were watching me head to toe until I noticed that those three guys were staring at me and I hurriedly went inside the room.        Till' Saturday afternoon came, It was rainy and the river was howling. I went to the C.R to take a bath and the for "girls" C.R inline by the "boys"  C.R which has a same roof, same wall and has no ceiling. And those delivery guys came ...

When God Works

I want my life story to be told.... Everyday we meet people by reason or by chance. By hard work we succeed but with out people can we? Yes! we can! Every situations had reasons, A reason to smile and a reason to cry. Through pain we can learn, through pain we grow. Not just pain we grow, happiness also. Joy shares love. Happiness shares peace. I just want to live happily and peacefully. This how simple my life story to be told.
